OFFSHORE LOGISTIC ELECTRICAL AND COMMISSIONING MANAGER required by our client to be hired on a contract basis, located in Singapore.
Duration: 17 months - With option to extend up to 7 months
POSITION SCOPE
- Responsible for coordination of logistics of personnel, material and equipment, Contract management and coordination of work scope with (sub)contractors.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- To plan and coordinate all offshore logistics for personnel, material and equipment
- To purchase material and equipment needed or requested by offshore team for to establish their daily works
- Participate in coordination and logistic planning meetings
- To coordinate offshore technicians for to establish their daily offshore works.
- Review RAMS supplied by contractors and the client
- Manage the WA and RAMS process for suppliers, contractors and the client
- Manage the overall commissioning progress with project planners
- Report commissioning progress/participate in commissioning meetings.
- To coordinate the maintenance service on all LV and aux. systems
- To coordinate and manage defect rectification process with suppliers, contractors and the client
- To manage contract and coordinate offshore activities with main suppliers and sub-contractors.
- To coordinate and ensure the collaboration between commissioning team and document control management
- Manage overall commissioning time schedule, including key milestones.
- Coordinate and plan daily offshore logistics for personnel, material and equipment
- Coordinate the offshore daily commissioning activities performed by suppliers, contractors and the client.
- Ensure all LV and aux. systems are maintained within the required time
- Ensure all defects cases are rectified within required time frame
- Ensure that the commissioning activities are in compliance with the project HSE rules and local legislation.
- Report offshore commissioning progress to the project and to the site & commissioning manager.
- Contribute actively to evaluation of the project and capture lessons learnt throughout the project.
- Coordinate supplier crew and offshore logistics.
- To coordinate the maintenance service on all LV and aux. systems
- To coordinate and manage defect rectification process with suppliers, contractors and the client
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- Five years of relevant project experience required.
- Good project management skills, coordination skills and a talent for driving solutions to achieve outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Commissioning experience within the field of MV/HV equipment, SCADA, low voltage and utility installations and components.
- Experience with offshore substation work.
