Marine Warranty Surveyor Manager

MARINE WARRANTY SURVEYOR MANAGER required by our client, an international renewable Operator, to be assigned on a Permanent basis, located in New Bedford, MA.  
   
Duration: 12 Months Ongoing

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES    
 
  • We're looking for an experienced Marine Warranty Surveyor Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible to catalyze MWS services required between the project Packages and the MWS service provider thus ensuring:
  • the Company fulfills its obligations under the CAR policy/Warranty Clause;
  • efficient communication between the Company (Installation managers) and the MWS to expedite the MWS approval process;
  • effective Cost control/monitoring is implemented in the administration of the MWS contract;
  • The role requires an active approach to understand all offshore installation works to identify potential interfaces with Assured items and to ensure the MWS SoW is fulfilled.
 
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS    
   
The right candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and five to eight years structural, marine or offshore engineering background. Highly organized with excellent communication skills and an analytical mind along with high level of professionalism, trustworthiness, sound judgment, and a collaborative spirit.
