WTG COMMISSIONING MANAGER required by our client, an International Oil and Gas Operator, to be assigned on a Contract basis, located in Boston, USA

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Approve commissioning procedures for the wind farm / RAMS.
Approve the final commissioning file.
Supervise the surveillance reporting system for the commissioning activities.
Attendance of possible meetings with equipment manufacturer.
Coordinate with the Lead Senior Authorised Persons regarding 'Safety from the System' and the implementation of the worksite electrical safety rules.
Participation in HAZOP and HAZID studies.
Review activities of technical review, contractual compliance and operation/logistical duties.
Oversee testing, commissioning and energisation of all WTG's, under the direction of the Senior Authorised Persons
Oversee the commissioning and operation of all activities, including final completion, hand-over, commissioning and all activities associated with interim operation until final take-over is achieved.
Provide a weekly report to the Commissioning Manager cover all activities.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
Min 10 Years' experience on WTG commissioning activities.
Min 3 Years' management or senior role.
Excellent English language skills.
Preferred UK experience / offshore working experience.
Must have experience in offshore substation commissioning.
Must have relevant experience with SCADA.
