LNG RFO Advisor – Technology

LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS READY FOR OPERATIONS ADVISOR - TECHNOLOGY required by our Client a midstream natural gas infrastructure company, to be assigned on a Permanent basis, located in Houston, TX.     
 
PRIMARY PURPOSE  
 
Oversee the development, implementation, and coordination of business procedures and all enterprise processes, such as the implementation of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, during the Ready for Operations (RFO) implementation plan to  enhance business efficiency.  
 
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES  
 
Oversee the integration of the software into a full enterprise management system.  
Oversee the RFO plan particularly regarding the purchase, implementation, and integration of software; and coordinating these activities with operational requirements.  
Work with IT team to develop technical solutions that are fit-for-purpose and integrate with the applications and systems already available and envisioned.  
Quantify costs for potential solutions and/or savings of business solutions with measurable, relevant  
metrics.
Determine software licensing requirements in accordance with the budget
Suggest innovative solutions to business processes / interactions / integrations / problems that leverage technology to provide performance improvements and better user experiences during RFO implementation plan.  
Investigate and identify business areas of opportunity for efficiency and RFO process improvements.  
Interview and work with key business stakeholders, including Global IT, to analyze, monitor and solve  
problems.  
Effectively communicate complex business scenarios, processes, and strategies to all key stakeholders; prepare recommendations to management for implementing new processes, procedures, and/or solutions.
Gather, organize, and analyze data originating from various sources across the organization. 5% $2022;
Develop and provide training to drive user adoptions and support organizational change as needed across operator companies  
Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties
 
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION  
 
Bachelor's Degree Business, accounting, finance, economics, engineering, science, IT, or related field  
5+ in Information Technology with specific emphasis on applications development, information management and business process controls  (software architectural design patterns).  
5 Preferred qualifications include LNG project experience, direct experience with RFO implementation plans for a full Enterprise Management System.  
Strong coordination, facilitation, and organizational skills, attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.  
Strong analytical, problem solving, and process management skills.  
Comprehensive knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis, and design and programming techniques.  
Ability to effectively adapt to and apply rapidly changing technology to business needs. Advanced  
Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts/theories for a variety of projects.  
Sound judgment, creativity and ingenuity in preparing oral, written and electronic communications  
Ability to translate complex material into language easily understood by targeted audiences  
Ability to multi-task and respond to quickly-shifting priorities Intermediate  
Ability to influence and interact with various levels and personalities within the organization Advanced  
Excellent communication skills; interacts well with subject matter experts, developers, management, and other team members  
Proficiency using Microsoft Office software, Outlook Email, SharePoint, MS Project Advanced  
Training on environmental, safety, operations and security procedures.  
Able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with management, co-workers, contractors and field personnel.  
Advanced Spanish fluency is a plus.  
Ability to read, analyze and interpret scientific / technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.  
This position requires the use of many industry specific computer applications, most of which can be learned on the job, but the candidate should, at a minimum, be proficient in the use of Outlook, Word and Excel and have an aptitude to learn other programs quickly.
