Senior Production Planner
Senior Production Planner required by our Client in the Oil & Energy sector to be assigned on a contract basis – located in Odense, Denmark
Duration: June 2023 – November 2023
POSITION SCOPE
The Consultant must bring his/her own PC with Microsoft Office software and must be in possession of an i-Phone 6 or a newer model, or a Windows phone 8.1 where the Organization’s AirWatch app can be downloaded. The app is mandatory on all mobile devices used by staff (including consultants) to protect them from cybercrime
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Production Planner (consultant) will work as a part of the task force on-site (at Lindø near Odense, Denmark, with supplier to improve production performance for foundations for offshore WTGs, and shall be capable of solving the below listed subjects singlehandedly (including but not limited to):
- Evaluate existing production planning set-up and recommend improvements
- Setting up a new / improved production planning system
- Planning daily work-activities for each workshop, process and repairs and follow up on progress every day
- Take part of the daily operations meetings held every morning and before closing the dayshift again and include progress awareness and make sure each workshop works on the most productive items (requires site presence every day)
- Follow up on actual vs planes activities to put some realistic data into the production plan.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- Available to work from site at production facility at Lindø near Odense Denmark
- Relevant experience with production planning at large scale manufacturing sites/yards
- Technical background preferred
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience
- Able to work independently and drive improvements and progress
- No remote work
