Schedule Engineer
Junior Schedule Engineer required by our Client in the Renewables sector to be assigned on a Contract basis, located in either Boston, MA or Bridgeport, CT.

POSITION SCOPE
The Junior Schedule Engineer plays a role within the Offshore Business focusing on the delivery of program controls within the offshore project. First assignment is for Park City wind and Commonwealth Wind Projects, where the candidate will assist in the development and analysis of the Project overall planning during its estimated 5-6 years or until operational hand over.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the delivery of multi-million-dollar, multi-disciplinary, multi- contract project planning with a substantial number of interfaces and coordination. Assist in the development of the Level 3 Project Master Program (PMP).
Assist in the preparation of project plans and monthly progress updates, utilizing Primavera Project Planner (P6). Work closely with Senior Schedule Engineers and Package Managers, enter and validate progress per package into P6.
Develop Level 3 Project Master Program (PMP) working with project teams and external stakeholders. Coordinate interfaces between external contractors and suppliers.
Report program schedule delays to Senior Schedule Engineers and the Lead Planner. Prepare project documentation to support Senior Schedule Engineers and the Lead Planner.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience.
- Proven experience in Offshore Wind/Renewable/Energy/Infrastructure Projects.
- Five (5) years experience in Scheduling & Planning large complex programs
- One (1) to three (3) years experience in Scheduling & Planning of offshore Wind / Renewable Energy / Infrastructure projects, including marine works or oil and gas programs
- Proven experience with Primavera Project Planner (P6), Microsoft Office suites and Document Management Systems
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Good knowledge of offshore projects
