Development Operations Associate is required by our Client in the Renewable sector to be assigned on a permanent basis – located in Bridgeport, CT

POSITION SCOPE/TASKS:

The Development Operations Administrator will report to the Park City Wind Project Manager and be responsible for providing SAP support to assist in the processing of contracts, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and invoicing. Other duties include coordinating documentation activities and maintaining accurate records in relation to the development of both the Park City Wind and Commonwealth Wind offshore wind projects. The successful applicant will have experience developing, training and maintaining multiple software applications used to support permitting, compliance, contracting, and other skills necessary to support various projects.

SAP experience is required.

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Track agency reporting schedules and draft initial versions of agency reports for technical leads to populate, file final versions within internal document control software.
  • Coordinate project team meetings in accordance with direction provided by the technical leads, including coordinating schedules, sending meeting invites.
  • Assist with travel reservations for internal team members using the company-designated software or other tools.
  • Assist the technical teams in preparing PowerPoint slides for various internal and external presentations.
  • Assist the Development team in processing of contracts, purchase orders, and invoices in SAP in accordance with Company processes. The types of vendors included in SAP to support the offshore business include scientists, engineers, and specialty consultants.
  • Provide support and guidance on SAP process compliance to Development team members and members of other teams within the offshore wind business

 

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Communicate effectively with project managers, technical leads, instructional designers, editors, and other team members
  • The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment and be flexible around evolving needs while managing both schedule and overall commitments in order to meet project deliverables
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in addition to the ability to create and use templates in MS Word, and PowerPoint.
  • College degree and 2 to 3 years of work experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and maintain organization.
  • Familiarity with submitting documentation to government agencies.
  • SAP expertise is required, including the ability to create purchase requisitions and purchase orders, process invoices, and track budgets and spend amounts for dozens of contractors.
  • The interview process will allow candidates to demonstrate their proficiencies in SAP
