ELECTRICAL QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER required by our client, to be assigned on a contact basis, located in Beaumont/Texas.


As an Electrical QA/QC Engineer, your primary role will be to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance in electrical systems for an industrial project at Beaumont/Texas. You’ll collaborate closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to verify that all electrical work adheres to industry standards and project specifications.  


Quality Assurance (QA): 

  • Engineering and Construction Oversight: Monitor and evaluate electrical engineering and construction activities related to cable pulling, cable connections, lighting, cable trays, instrumentation, and power distribution. 
  • Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning: Verify that electrical systems are installed correctly and function as intended during pre-commissioning and commissioning phases. 
  • Documentation Review: Review technical documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance. 
  • Testing and Inspection: Conduct quality inspections, witness tests, and verify compliance with safety regulations. 

Quality Control (QC): 

  • Inspection and Auditing: Perform regular inspections of electrical installations, equipment, and components. 
  • Defect Identification: Identify and address any defects, deviations, or non-conformities promptly. 
  • Material Verification: Ensure that materials used meet quality standards. 
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with project teams to improve processes and enhance quality control procedures. 
  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions. 
  • Collaboration and Communication: 
  • Team Coordination: Work closely with electrical contractors, engineers, and other project stakeholders. 
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on QA/QC activities to project management. 
  • Problem-Solving: Address any quality-related issues promptly and propose solutions. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 
  • Relevant certifications in quality control are advantageous. 
  • Experience in industrial projects, preferably in electrical systems. 
  • Strong knowledge of cable pulling, cable connections, lighting, cable trays, instrumentation, and power distribution. 
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
