EPCI HSE MANAGER – EPCI TEAM, UPSTREAM required by our Client, an Oil and Gas Operator, to be assigned on a Contract basis, located in Paris, France.

DURATION                       1 year Contract (Renewable)

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • Provide project management and leadership of the HSE Team during all project phases.
  • Monitor, review and manage all facets of work within the HSE scope of work to ensure that schedule, cost / budget, technical, quality and HSES requirements are, as a minimum, met or improved upon. This shall include ensuring HSES plans, bridging documents and readiness reviews are in place and properly implemented.
  • Establish a HSE Team organisation (with organisation chart and mob / demob plan) matched to the relevant project phase and ensure that resources are identified, mobilized, and demobilized in accordance with the plan.
  • Ensure appropriate processes / ways of working and HAZID identification processes are established and implemented appropriate to the work activities being undertaken.
  • Define, monitor, and manage work tasks with external consultants and contractors as required.
  • Ensure that all HSE scope work activities are performed in compliance with project technical requirements and fit for purpose.
  • Provide leadership in identification and resolution of detailed HSE scope interface issues, in conjunction with managers / senior discipline engineers, in an efficient and cost-effective manner
  • Provide leadership in HSSE performance and compliance including monitoring of performance, implementation of corrective measures for performance issues and pro-active implementation of schemes / activities to improve upon good performance across EPCI scope work activities

ACCOUNTABILITIES
 

  • Management of HSE scope delivery and team during the project execution phase.
  • Safe and on time delivery of the HSE scope of work within the EPCI Contract whilst ensuring a high level of quality consistent with a project design life of 20 years.
  • Ensure compliance with Company HSE requirements within all work activities.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
 

  • Min. 10 years’ experience in management of HSE within large scale EPCI contracts with offshore pipeline / SURF work scopes and proven team leadership / management experience. Minimum of 15 years relevant track record in HSE related to pipeline / SURF engineering, installation, and pre-commissioning activities.
  • Experienced HSE manager able to assess and constructively challenge contractor HSE performance and assist contractor to arrive to best for project outcomes.
  • Fluency in the English language and capable to represent the project in front of all stakeholders in a professional and organized manner.
  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent is required with sciences or engineering specialism preferred.
