SENIOR DEVELOPMENT PROJECT ENGINEER required by our client, an international CCUS infrastructure and engineering solutions provider to be assigned on a contract basis, located in London/Aberdeen, United Kingdom

DURATION 12 months (renewable)
WORK SCHEDULE 40 hours per week

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Development planning oversight
Cost estimating and schedule-roadmap development
Project Assurance, Risk & Opportunity management
Joint Venture management activities -– Committee meeting attendance, Work Program and Budget co-ordination, JV reporting.
Stakeholder engagement – principally key Government/Regulators (e.g. NSTA).

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

Engineering or Science or Business Degree
Significant experience in ‘pre-FID’ developments – understanding and demonstrable application of stage gate process and associated activities / deliverables
Project management techniques, leading multi-disciplinary project teams
Broad range of technical / business exposure
Good understanding of upstream energy systems, including the subsurface
Understanding of fundamentals of Energy Transition/Decarbonization concepts
