SENIOR CONTRACTS ENGINEER required by our client within oil and gas industry (OPERATOR), to be assigned on a contract basis, located in Bata, Equatorial Guinea

DURATION: 12 months (preferred residence status)

POSITION SCOPE

Be the main focal point between London Project team and EG Supply Chain team, legal and other departments
Procurement & Contracts Leadership

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience in upstream oil and gas industry, in procurement, contract formulation and negotiation, contract management.
Proven experience of negotiating contracts, preferably in offshore oil and gas projects.
Good understanding of significant legal and commercial issues within supply chain.
International exposure within an Oil and Gas contracts and procurement environment.
Experienced in use of SAP for procurement related activities

Degree level qualification
Preference for additional SCM related qualification, eg. CIPS, MBA
