PROJECT ENGINEER (DUE DILIGENCE) required by our client, an international CCUS infrastructure and engineering solutions provider to be assigned on a contract basis, located in London/Aberdeen, United Kingdom

DURATION:                   6-12 months (extendable)
WORK SCHEDULE:      40 hours per week

POSITION SCOPE
To co-ordinate all the support activities for the Project Team in the Cluster sequencing Track-2 Due Diligence (DD) process with DESNZ and other key stakeholders. This started in September 2023 with ‘phase 1’ likely to be until end of 2023, and, assuming success, moving to a min. 18-24 mons. negotiation process up to FID.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Co-ordinate the Q&A process
  • Be present in meetings to take notes/maintain action tracker
  • Interface with all project business/functional leads to ensure actions/ supporting documentation are being addressed/prepared
  • Oversight of all commercial/legal/technical documentation the project is developing that will be of importance in the DD process.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Engineering or Science or Business Degree
  • MS suite of products ‘super user’
  • Skilled in Development Planning fundamentals (eg schedule, costs) and key Commercial Agreements
  • Overview of Financial key principals
  • Understanding of fundamentals of major energy/infrastructure projects
  • Blend of Technical and commercial acumen
