Project engineer – Civil engineering

PROJECT ENGINEERING – CIVIL ENGINEERING required for a bridge construction project by segmental erection methods in Singapore. The Project is part of the new infrastructure development program of Singapore it is highly technical and challenging and will use state of the art construction techniques.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the construction works
- Monitor and drive compliance in accordance with engineering drawings and documents
- Interact daily with client and contractors to achieve best for project outcomes in formal and informal forums
- Report on project status and have ownership of issues and engage relevant resources for their resolution or escalation
- Implement and promote a safe working environment
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in civil engineering, with 3 years of work experience for a leading construction contractor
- Proficiency in the Microsoft® Office suite of software packages
- Must be customer focused, team oriented, accountable and results driven
- Must be energetic with a positive can-do attitude
- Ability and willingness to adapt and quickly learn.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally
